Student Terms of Service
1. Structure, Curriculum & Certification
- Program Duration: The program spans 3 to 5 years, progressing flexibly based on individual student pace. The curriculum is divided into distinct modules based on content type.
- Certificates: Upon the successful completion of each module, students will be awarded an official Academy Certificate of Completion.
- Class Format: Sessions are 60 minutes long, held once per week via Zoom. The first 10 minutes are allocated to adjusting settings and reviewing previous material.
- Session Notes: PDF class notes will be shared within 24 hours of session completion via the official group. All material is proprietary; recording, sharing, or distributing content is strictly prohibited.
2. Technical Requirements & Session Integrity
- Required Hardware: Students must have a laptop, a functional webcam, a functional microphone (built-in is acceptable), and a stable internet connection.
- Student Technical Disruption: If a student experiences technical or connectivity issues, the class time remains fixed. No extra time or replacement session will be granted.
3. Attendance & Rescheduling Policy
- No Student Rescheduling: Regular classes cannot be rescheduled by students under any circumstances. If a student misses a class, the session is forfeited without a refund.
- Policy Exceptions: Replacement classes are granted only when a session falls on an official Academy holiday, when a teacher is unavailable and a substitute cannot be arranged, or if a class is disrupted for more than 10 minutes due to teacher-side network/technical issues.
- Advance Fee Adjustments: Under special circumstances and subject strictly to the Academy’s discretion, a student may inform administration prior to the upcoming billing cycle to opt out of and skip payment for a specific class in the following month.
- Discontinuation: To discontinue, students must notify the Academy at least 10 days before the end of the month. No refunds are issued for mid-month withdrawals.
4. Fees & Billing Cycle
- Billing Structure: Payments are calculated and billed on the 1st of every month based on the exact number of scheduled sessions in the upcoming month.
- Payment Deadline: Fees must be cleared before the 1st of the month. Proof of transfer (Transaction ID) must be shared immediately upon payment. Access to classes will be withheld until payment is verified.
5. Progress Reviews
- Evaluation: Progress reviews by Pandit Yogesh Samsi occur at key milestones dictated by student progress, teacher recommendations, and Panditji’s availability. Reviews cannot be requested on demand by students.
Teacher Terms of Service
1. Punctuality & Instructional Delivery
- Early Join Time: Teachers must join the Zoom session 15 minutes before the scheduled start time to resolve any technical, audio, or instrument settings before the student joins.
- Material Dispatch: PDF lesson notes must be sent to the student within 24 hours of class completion (preferably shared towards the end of the live session).
2. Leave, Substitutions & Disruption Policies
- Planned Absences: Teachers must notify administration at least 1 week in advance for planned leave to allow sufficient time to organise a substitute.
- Unplanned Absences: In emergencies, teachers must inform administration immediately and actively help arrange a substitute teacher, regardless of the timeline.
- Substitute Access: Assigned substitutes will access the student’s log and progress history via the Academy’s shared database to ensure seamless instructional continuity.
- Technical Disruption: If teacher-side network or technical issues disrupt a class for more than 10 minutes, the session must be completely rescheduled at a mutually convenient time.
3. Communication & Code of Conduct
- Strict Admin Oversight: All communications with students must take place strictly inside the official WhatsApp group containing Academy administration. Direct private messaging or off-platform communication is strictly prohibited.
- Student Integrity: Teachers are expected to uphold the spirit of the Academy and refrain from taking Academy students into private instruction outside the platform.
